I aspire to empower each of my clients through collaborative approaches and concepts to achieve each client’s goal as they process transitions in their life. I find that my clients feel overwhelmed and stuck in different areas of their lives where their relationships with loved ones are greatly affected.
So often in our society, individuals will find themselves comparing their lives, their relationships, and their worth to those around them instead of choosing to look inward and see the strengths that they do possess. My goal as a therapist is to ensure that each client never has to feel alone and that they feel unconditional support in my office as they pursue their goals.
When working with clients, I take a collaborative and client- centered systems-based approach. I strive to create an atmosphere of acceptance and comfort while encouraging clients to set boundaries and take the time to care for themselves. I create opportunities for hope and change through open conversations, humor, reframing, and allowing each person to be themselves.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I work with adults, couples, and adolescents. I have a particular interest in helping new parents transition into their roles while balancing their own needs as individuals and as a couple. Also, I am trained in facilitating and utilizing the Prepare/Enrich material in pre-marital counseling and helps couples identify their strengths in their relationship and develop a strong marriage.
